Christian Collins

Christian Collins is a Junior from Aiken, South Carolina. He is a dual major in economics and mathematics with an actuarial studies track and works as an online math tutor. Outside of academics, Christian enjoys playing guitar and training for marathons. He is currently working through the preliminary actuarial exams, and after graduation, plans to pursue a career as an actuary. 

Emily Cook is a junior from Sumter, South Carolina. She is also a member of the Honors College. She is pursuing a degree in Economics with minors in Marketing and Political Science. Her interests lie in behavioral economics, developmental economics, and political economy analysis. In the future, Emily plans to attend graduate school and pursue a career as a policy analyst.

Caroline Greer

Caroline Greer is a junior from Charlottesville, Va studying economics and data science. At the college, she is a Stuart Williams Impact Scholar and an alum of the Entrepreneurship Living Learning Community. She attended the Koch Internship Program where she interned for Reason Foundation in the summer of 2021. Caroline enjoys hiking and traveling in her free time.

Meredith Hutchens is a junior student-athlete from Newport News, Virginia. She is double-majoring in Economics and Mathematics with a concentration in Statistics. Meredith attended The Fund for American Studies Academic Internship where she studied Public Policy and Economics. She plans to attend graduate school and pursue a career in economic policy.

Stephanie Laudien

Lucas Moyon is a junior in the Honors College from Rock Hill, SC. He is pursuing degrees in Economics, Physics, and Astronomy. He has interned at the Federal Reserve Bank of Richmond where he has published two articles on the economic impacts of COVID-19. He has also worked at the SC Chamber of Commerce. Lucas is the co-founder and president of CougarVotes, the College’s nonpartisan voter registration club, and the co-president of the Charleston Fellows Society.

Alec Patsey is a Junior from Cary, North Carolina. He is majoring in Data Science with a business analytics emphasis. He is also pursuing a minor in Economics. Currently, he is an intern at Tatras Data, a Mount Pleasant-based consulting firm that provides data science as a service. In his free time, Alec enjoys spending time with his Sheepadoodle, playing guitar, and getting out on the golf course.

Eliza Quillen

Eliza Quillen is currently a Masters in Accounting candidate from Sarasota, Florida. She graduated from the Honors College in May of 2021 with a B.S. in Accounting with a minor in Economics. Her interests lie in entrepreneurship, innovation, and fashion. Most recently, she has interned remotely with Ernst & Young in their Assurance practice, aligned with the Atlanta office. Upon graduation, she plans to sit for the Uniform CPA Examination, and continue working for Ernst & Young in Atlanta. In her free time, she enjoys exploring the restaurant scene and going on walks in Charleston.

Jenna Stern is Sophomore from Richmond, VA, and she is majoring in Accounting with a minor in Jewish Studies. She is interested in pursuing a career as a forensic accountant, but she is still finding new interests. On campus, Jenna is involved with the Honors College and serves as an Honors Ambassador. She also serves on the College of Charleston Hillel Student Board. In her free time, she enjoys exploring Charleston and everything the city has to offer.
