Rene has been the Director of the Global Business Resource Center since 2007. Over the years, she has built and maintained strong ties with the international business community in South Carolina. Rene has raised $350,000 in recurring funding for international business and global trade. Her leadership has resulted in many successful and beneficial programs for our students and community partners. Rene is also the point person for the biannual NASBITE Certified Global Business Professional exam preparation courses. James serves as the Associate Director of the Global Business Resource Center in the School of Business. In this role, he is responsible for hosting and organizing international business networking events to provide mentoring and internship opportunities for students. He also advises and mentors international business students. He is responsible for facilitating the development of service-learning projects and social enterprise study abroad programs. James has team led MBA students on global immersion programs to Prague, Czech Republic, London, United Kingdom, and Mumbai, India. More recently, he served as co-director on study abroad programs to Ghana and The Netherlands and Belgium. Matthew Zittritsch

Matthew previously served as a Peace Corps Community & Youth Development volunteer for two years in Armenia and worked for a small education non-profit in Edwards, CO as an AmeriCorps VISTA volunteer. As an undergraduate at the University of Dubuque, he was a three-time study abroad participant (1x Australia; 2x Semester at Sea). As someone who has spent several years living, working, and studying outside of the U.S., he can attest to both the personal and professional benefits that study abroad has to offer. Matthew is responsible for advising School of Business students on the various ways to study abroad. He also manages the day-to-day operation of the Center.
