George G. Spaulding Distinguished Executive Speaker Series

The George G. Spaulding Distinguished Executive Speaker Series was established in 1995 by the late George Spaulding (pictured left), former General Motors executive, Post & Courier columnist, and first Executive-in-Residence for the School of Business. As part of the speaker series, Spaulding brought top corporate CEOs and executives to share their professional success stories and case histories with business students. The George Spaulding Distinguished Executive Speaker Series roster has included executives from NBC, General Motors, Proctor & Gamble, S.C. elected officials, military leaders, Avon, Vera Bradley, Trader Joes, and others [view full list of past speakers]. David Koysza (pictured right) is senior counsel and a member of the Executive Leadership Team at Boeing South Carolina. He has been closely involved with Boeing’s expansion in South Carolina. He previously led the litigation group for Boeing Defense, Space & Security, the $20 billion defense unit of The Boeing Company and he was Boeing’s lead counsel for Canada and Latin America. Prior to joining Boeing, Koysza was a shareholder with the law firm of Wyche, P.A. in Greenville, S.C. and he practiced Supreme Court litigation with the U.S. Department of Justice in Washington, D.C. He is a graduate of Furman University and Duke University School of Law, and he clerked for Chief Judge Billy Wilkins of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit.
