Global Entrepreneurship Week

Each November, individuals from over 160 countries get together for Global Entrepreneurship Week (GEW), an initiative with the sole goal of inspiring millions to engage in innovative thought and entrepreneurial activity.

2022 SC Pitch Competition

This past November 15 colleges and universities in South Carolina are partnering together to launch the second annual SC Innovates Pitch Competition.  This statewide, virtual format is leveraging the power of Global Entrepreneurship Week 2021 to encourage any and all South Carolina college students to develop and pitch their promising business ideas and compete for thousands in cash. Students compete for $10,000 in cash prizes.

Several College of Charleston students placed exceptionally well at the competition.
