Academic Programs
Finance. Economics. Business. Urban Studies. Communication. Where do all these fields intersect?
If you’re curious about the built environment and want to work in an area where you’ll analyze trends, synthesize data, and understand markets - you're in the right place! Our programs prepare students for long-term career success with a curriculum built around the three integrated markets and functions that comprise the commercial real estate system: real estate use, real estate assets and real estate development. Understanding these components and how the participants of each component make business decisions is crucial to a successful career in the industry.
Students in our program work closely with professors and local industry practitioners to provide a multifaceted and practical education in the many varied avenues of real estate practice. Internships, research projects and independent studies are partnered within a robust academic framework to ensure that all aspects of the student's professional development are fully nurtured. Members of the student-run Real Estate Club work closely with area professionals to provide additional opportunities for networking and experiential learning.
