Project Management Certificate

About the Project Management Certificate

The project management certificate teaches leadership, communication, how to manage a project budget and how to motivate team members. At the end of this 18-credit hour course, you will understand how to manage complex projects from beginning to end.

This certificate prepares you to work in a range of industries in the public, private and non-profit sector. It offers you a practical curriculum that covers setting goals, managing stakeholder relationships and integration. By following the PMBOK (Project Management Body of Knowledge), it prepares you to manage project scope, schedule, cost, risk and quality.

This certificate is six courses and can be completed in one year. The courses are all available online. You can take this certificate if you already have a bachelor’s degree, or you can take this certificate and apply these credits to a bachelor’s degree in the future.

Where can the Project Management certificate take me?

The undergraduate certificate in project management is a concise way to strengthen your skills in strategic planning, managerial insight and communication. The strategies you learn in the six certificate classes will give you the skills you need to enter a new field or advance your career.

According to the 2020 Project Management Salary Survey, the median annual salary for project managers in the United States was $116,000*.
