Douglas Boyle held Marketing and General Management roles with PepsiCo and Royal Dutch Shell during his professional career.  His early responsibilities ranged from traditional brand management roles to managing Frito-Lay’s start-up operation in Istanbul, Turkey in the early ‘90s.  In his final decade with Shell, Doug was responsible for global marketing of the #1 Lubricants and Retail Fuels business in the world.  Specific responsibilities included brand portfolio, pricing, convenience retail, payment card & loyalty offers, CRM, business model design and retailer performance management across Shell’s network of 43,000 sites and 60+ countries.

Since retirement, Doug has been an Adjunct Professor at Rice University’s Jones Graduate School of Business during 2014-2017, and now at the College of Charleston’s School of Business.  Additionally, Doug volunteers extensively at the American Heart Association where he is the Chairman of the International Committee and on the National Board of Directors.   

Doug received his BA in History from Bates College and his Masters in Management from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
