Melinda Patience is a 2007 College of Charleston graduate with dual degrees in Business Administration and Hospitality & Tourism Mangement. During her senior year, she completed her internship as a marketing research intern for the Office of Tourism Analysis. This internship sparked her interest in research and analytics. After graduation, Melinda worked for a competitive intelligence research firm in the Charleston area. During this time, she began taking computer science courses at Trident Technical College to broaden her skill set. In May 2013, Melinda returned to the College as the Research Coordinator for the Office of Tourism Analysis. She earned her M.S. in Data Analytics from Southern New Hampshire University in the March 2018.
