Alicia Awdeh
Administrative Coordinator

As a graduate of Clemson University, Alicia has spent her career in the Hospitality Industry in a multitude of roles. Her professional life began in hotels as Director of Sales and Convention Services for Hilton and subsequently, Marriott Corporation. During that time, Alicia also served as an adjunct professor teaching hotel management and event planning courses for a local college in Charlotte, NC. She later transitioned as the owner of Event Planning Solutions, Inc. based in Atlanta, GA, and Las Vegas, NV. She led various teams in planning and executing large-scale conventions and tradeshows for ADP, IBM, Hewlett Packard, and Sun Microsystems. In 2008, Alicia returned to her southern roots from Las Vegas, NV to launch Grand Strand Getaway vacation rentals which she owned and managed prior to joining the Hospitality team at the College of Charleston.
