The online application link for scholarship opportunities during the 2014-2015 academic year has closed. All scholarship applications for upperclassmen were due by MIDNIGHT February 1, 2014.

The online application link for scholarship opportunities during the 2015-2016 academic year will be available here on December 1, 2014. All scholarship applications for 2015-2016 upplerclassmen scholarships are due by MIDNIGHT February 1, 2015.

Albert Sottile Memorial Scholarship

Declared School of Business major. Must be a South Carolina resident. Must file FAFSA for the award year. Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0. Renewable up to three years, if terms are met.

Boeing Scholarship 

Declared School of Business major. Demonstrated excellence in leadership and communication. Demonstrated interest in pursuing a career in aerospace industry. Scholars encouraged to pursue internships in the aerospace industry, specifically with Boeing. Additional consideration given to students with backgrounds that are typically underrepresented in the aerospace industry. Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.2.

Angel Oak Scholarship in Real Estate

Rising sophomore, junior or senior. Declared School of Business Real Estate concentration or minor. Demonstrated plans to complete a Real Estate internship and participation with the Real Estate Club. Preference may be given to students already engaged with the Real Estate Club. Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.

Charles & Mary Pratt Edmondston Scholarship   

Rising junior, declared School of Business major. Must file FAFSA for the award year. Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.6. Renewable up to two years, if terms are met.

Hale-Westbury Scholarship

Declared School of Business major. Must file FAFSA for the award year. Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0. Renewable up to three years, if terms are met.

Charleston Bed and Breakfast Association Scholarship (HTMT)

Rising sophomore, junior or senior. Declared hospitality and tourism management major, minor or concentration. Applicant must provide a cogent, industry-relevant and focused cover letter with online application. Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5.

Charleston Restaurant Association Educational Scholarship (HTMT)  

Rising sophomore, junior or senior. Declared hospitality and tourism management major, minor or concentration. Demonstrated restaurant/industry-relevant involvement or intent. Demonstrated intent to seek employment in the Charleston area upon graduation. Preference given to candidates who demonstrate financial need (however, committee can award the scholarship to a student who does not demonstrate need). Applicant must provide a cogent, industry-relevant and focused cover letter with online application. Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5.

Charleston Wine & Food Festival Education Scholarship (HTMT) 

Rising sophomore, junior or senior. Declared hospitality and tourism management major, minor or concentration. Demonstrate event/industry-relevant involvement or intent. Preference given to candidates who demonstrate financial need (however, committee can award the scholarship to a student who does not demonstrate need). Applicant must provide a cogent industry-relevant and focused cover letter with online application. Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5.

Daimler Vans Manufacturing Scholarship  

Rising junior or senior, declared School of Business major. Completed coursework in global logistics and transportation, supply chain management and/or finance. Demonstrated interest in career in supply chain management and/or finance. Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0. Renewable up to one year, if terms are met.

Hale-Westbury Scholarship 

Declared School of Business major. Must file FAFSA for the award year. Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0. Renewable up to three years, if terms are met.

Independent Insurance Agents of SC Scholarship 

Rising sophomore, junior or senior declared School of Business major. Demonstrated interest in pursuing a career in the property and casualty insurance industry agency system. Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.

Jack Maybank Maritime Scholarship

Rising senior declared School of Business major. Enrollment in the Global Logistics Systems Management course (TRAN 432) during spring semester of the award year. Scholarship must be used in conjunction with the Rotterdam Travel Study Program. Must file FAFSA for the award year. Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0. 

Kiawah Island Golf Resort Educational Scholarship (HTMT)

Rising sophomore, junior or senior. Declared hospitality and tourism management major, minor or concentration. Demonstrated resort/industry-relevant involvement or intent. Preference given to candidates who demonstrate financial need (however, committee can award the scholarship to a student who does not demonstrate need). Applicant must provide a cogent, industry-relevant and focused cover letter with online application. Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5.     

Maclean Business Scholarship  

Rising sophomore, junior or senior declared School of Business major. Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0. Renewable up to one year, if terms are met.

Mattox Family Scholarship 

Rising sophomore or junior declared School of Business major. Demonstrated plans to incorporate global study (ie: international internships, study abroad, service learning trip, etc.) into candidate’s academic experience at the School of Business. Preference may be given to students traveling for longer-term stay or CofC study abroad programs. Must file FAFSA for the award year. Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.  Renewable up to one year, if terms are met.

Patrick E. Ringwald Scholarship (HTMT) 

Rising sophomore, junior or senior. Declared hospitality and tourism management major, minor or concentration. Demonstrated restaurant/industry-relevant involvement or intent. Preference given to candidates who demonstrate financial need (however committee can award the scholarship to a student who does not demonstrate need). Applicant must provide a cogent, industry-relevant and focused cover letter with online application. Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.

Robert McCormick Figg Americanism Scholarship 

Rising senior declared School of Business major and a Global Logistics concentration/minor. Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.

Rebecca C. Herring Scholarship

Rising junior or senior declared accounting major who has completed 9+ credit hours in ACCT (minimum of 6 credits earned at CofC). Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.

Sharon and William Asbill Scholarship  

Rising junior or senior declared School of Business major. Completed coursework in Real Estate and demonstrated interest in a career in Real Estate. Demonstration of leadership. Must file FAFSA for the award year. Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0. Renewable up to one year, if terms are met. 

South Carolina Stevedores Association Scholarship 

Rising junior declared School of Business major with a Global Logistics & Transportation concentration or an International Business major with a foreign language minor. Must be a South Carolina resident. Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0. Renewable up to two years, if terms are met.

Steadman Scholarship 

Rising senior, declared School of Business major. Must have completed, or be currently enrolled in FIN 385 or FIN 386. Demonstrated interest in pursuing a career in the property and casualty insurance industry. Demonstrated intent to seek employment in the Charleston area upon graduation.  Scholars encouraged to work with the donor to pursue an insurance-related internship during at least one semester of their senior year. Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.

Wells Fargo Business Scholarship 

Declared School of Business major. Demonstrated plans to pursue finance-oriented employment following graduation. Preference given to candidates who demonstrate financial need (however committee can award the scholarship to a student who does not demonstrate need). Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0. Renewable up to three years, if terms are met.

Wild Dunes Resort Hospitality Management Scholarship (HTMT)  

Rising sophomore, junior or senior. Declared hospitality and tourism management major, minor or concentration. Demonstrated resort/industry-relevant involvement or intent. Preference given to candidates who demonstrate financial need (however, committee can award the scholarship to a student who does not demonstrate need). Applicant must provide a cogent, industry-relevant and focused cover letter with online application. Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5.
