Impact Investors Ball and Panel Discussion

According to impact investment expert Stuart Williams — founder and chairman of In Place Impact — people who innovate solutions for humanity and the planet will have the greatest wealth accumulation over the next 50 years.

As a continuation of its ongoing commitment to sustainability literacy, the College of Charleston School of Business has partnered with In Place Impact to host the first-ever Impact Investors Ball and Panel Discussion — giving Charlestonians the opportunity to meet, discuss and learn from the leading impact entrepreneurs in the world who share Williams’ vision for the future.

Join panelists Bob Caruso (chairman of The SOCAP Group), Rania Hoteit (CEO and co-founder of ID4A), Pearl Johnson (founder of The Willow School), and Sergio Fernández de Córdova (private sector advisor of the SDG Fund for the United Nations) as they discuss how impact entrepreneurship will help today’s innovators change the world tomorrow.

Each presentation will offer a unique innovation aligned with the mission of making a profit while making a difference. The evening also includes a cocktail reception, dinner and keynote speech by Pearl Johnson, founder of The Willow School.

Celebrating Women Entrepreneurs Summit

Wednesday, October 25, 2017 | 5:30-7:30 p.m. | School of Business*

This fall, the Center for Entrepreneurship will host its second-annual Celebrating Women Entrepreneurs Summit. The event was organized in an effort to inspire entrepreneurs and raise awareness of the potential for innovation and economic expansion for women and by women. 

The summit — which is sponsored by Coastal Wealth Management — will commence with a brief networking reception, followed by an all-female panel discussion,** where participants will share their professional journeys and the common struggles they see facing present and future female entrepreneurs.
