As part of the final capstone course, TRAN 432 Global Logistics Systems Management, seniors are given the opportunity to travel to The Netherlands and Belgium during spring break. The trip, partially funded by the program, is an outstanding way to conclude the two-year logistics and transportation program. The 10-day trip is based in the Dutch city of Rotterdam, the largest port in Europe. It provides an exceptional international experience that enhances the value of our program.

During the week, students are the guests of industry and government facilities, including the Port Authority of Rotterdam, Honda Europe, KLM Air Cargo operations, the Aalsmeer flower auction and other transportation and logistics related activities. A topic of special interest is selected by each student during the trip for a final research project presented at the end of the semester. During their free time, students are able to visit other cities in The Netherlands and take weekend trips to nearby cities in Belgium.
