Marcia Snyder is Director of Accreditation and Academic Data Management for the School of Business.  She received a B.S. in Economics from the College of Charleston and earned a MSc. in Environmental and Resource Economics from the University of London.  Snyder has taught over 3600 students as an Instructor/Senior Instructor for the Department of Economics and Finance during the past twelve years. She has taught Principles of Macroeconomics, Principles of Microeconomics, Introduction to Economics, and Economic Theory for Environmental Policy Analysis as well as independent studies in Health Economics and the Economics of Baseball and Examinations of the Great Recession.  While working for the Tate Center for Entrepreneurship she was instrumental in improving and expanding the scope of the South Carolina Economic Developers' School (SCEDs) and developed the Advanced SCEDs program with the SC Department of Commerce. She has additional experience as a Research Associate in the Office of Economic Analysis at the School of Business and corporate work experience with BP Oil Company and General Electric.
